Rebecca Pack Jorgensen, PhD.
Becca came to San Diego from BYU-Idaho where she was a counselor in the Counseling Center and taught Psychology and Family Life Courses. She loves doing group work and has years of experience with men’s sexual addictions groups and couple’s therapy groups. She is an expert practioner of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), being a Certified EFT Therapist, Supervisor and Trainer. She has been practicing as a psychotherapist for 18 years. Becca’s primary research interests are in the area of couples therapy, observational process research and compulsive sexual behavior. Becca is a native Californian.
Dr. Jorgensen holds the Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Capella University, the M.S. in Clinical Child and Youth Work, a family counseling program, and the B.S. in Psychogy, both from Western Oregon University. John Boyle, MFT
John started his mental health career working with severely emotional disturbed children and their families with Sonoma County mental health. He then served as a school counselor for Rincon Valley Unified School District where he helped to develop an anti-violence program and a childhood depression screening for schools and families. While in training with Dr. Gary Bunnell, John worked at Excel Now where he treated adults struggling with bi-polar and major depression using new methodology which integrates western psychology with meditation and relaxation techniques. In 2002 John moved to Southern California where he continued treating teens struggling with emotional as well as substance abuse problems. In John's work with adults he has focused on helping couples establish better communication. John also works with individuals struggling with anxiety, stress management and those in need of trauma recovedry work from being wounded in childhood.
John has specialized training as a substance abuse counselor and group facilitater, under Dr. Mark Falls. He also trained under noted Sonoma County psychiatrist Dr. Gary Bunnell.
In August 2006 John received his initial Life STAR training with LifeSTAR co-founders Dan Gray and Todd Olson. He has subsequently trained under Dr. Marie Wilson (among others) the noted Meadows sex addiction art therapist. John has led all three phases of LifeSTAR and currently leads phase two and phase three groups for addicts.

Kevin Thomas, PhD
Dr Thomas is a Clinical Psychologist who has worked in the field of mental / behavioral health in various capacities since 1997. He has substantial depth and breath of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults suffering from a wide range of mental illnesses, disorders, addictions and trauma in equally diverse inpatient / outpatient settings. Currently, Dr. Thomas works in his own private practice in the South Orange County area where he offers individual, group, couples and family therapy to address relational and emotional problems. He is deeply committed to providing the tools and building blocks to success enabling diverse populations in need to take charge of their well-being and enhance their quality of living. Dr. Thomas specializes in the treatment of sexually compulsive behaviors.
