12 Step Programs and Support Groups
Co-Dependents Anonymous
Co-Dependents Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women whose common purpose is to develop healthy relationships. The only requirement for membership is a desire for healthy and loving relationships. The group gathers together to support and share with each other in a journey of self-discovery – learning to love the self. Living the program allows each member to become increasingly honest with his/herself, about his/her personal histories and his/her own codependent behaviors. The group’s members rely upon the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions for knowledge and wisdom. These are the principles of the program and guides to developing honest and fulfilling relationships. In CoDA, each member learns to build a bridge to a Higher Power of his/her own understanding and allow others the same privilege. This renewal process is a gift of healing for the group. By actively working the program of Co-Dependents Anonymous, members can each realize a new joy, acceptance and serenity in their lives.
Recovering Couples Anonymous
RCA is a fellowship of recovering couples committed to restoring healthy communication and caring and, subsequently, finding greater joy and intimacy. Many members participate in other 12-Step Fellowships. RCA participants share their experience, strength and hope with each other in order to solve common problems and help other recovering couples restore their relationships. The only requirement for RCA membership is a desire to remain in a committed relationship.
Sex Addicts Anonymous
Sex Addicts Anonymous, SAA, is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other so they may overcome their sexual addiction and help others recover from sexual addiction or dependency.
Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous
Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous is a Twelve Step - Twelve Tradition oriented fellowship based on the model pioneered by Alcoholics Anonymous. One of the resources members draw on is their willingness to stop acting out in their own personal bottom-line addictive behavior on a daily basis. In addition, members reach out to others in the fellowship, practice the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of S.L.A.A. and seek a relationship with a Higher Power to counter the destructive consequences of one or more addictive behaviors related to sex addiction, love addiction, dependency on romantic attachments, emotional dependency, and sexual, social and emotional anorexia. The group has found a common denominator in its members’ obsessive, compulsive patterns which renders any personal differences of sexual or gender orientation irrelevant.
Sexaholics Anonymous
Sexaholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop lusting and become sexually sober. There are no dues or fees for SA membership; the group is self-supporting through its own contributions. SA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes.
Its member’s primary purpose is to stay sexually sober and help others to achieve sexual sobriety.

Sexual Compulsives Anonymous
Sexual Compulsives Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other, that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from sexual compulsion. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop having compulsive sex. There are no dues or fees for SCA membership; the group is self-supporting through its own contributions. SCA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Its member’s primary purpose is to stay sexually sober and to help others to achieve sexual sobriety. Members are encouraged to develop their own sexual recovery plan, and to define sexual sobriety for themselves. Members are not there to repress their God-given sexuality, but to learn how to express it in ways that will not make unreasonable demands on their time and energy, place them in legal jeopardy – or endanger their mental, physical or spiritual health. |
